There have been several studies on the two pieces; however, few comparative studies of them could be found in the literature. This study, thus, aims to show the attitude, method, and features of histography in Bayhaqi, Tabari, and Bal'ami's histories focusing on the similarities and differences. The comparison of the two works can shed light on the quality and changing process of writing history. The results suggest that Bayhaqi's history tries to analyze and explain the events besides mere narration. His method stands among the analytic histography. But Bal'ami, in his translation, only chooses the reliable narratives from Tabari, because he believes that the repetition of reports on an event does not mean its validity. Bal'ami focuses on rationality as a criterion in such reports. Bal'ami and Bayhaqi consider history different from superstition and focus on the realities which are reported by credible narrators. Some of the other features of Bal'ami's histography is to analyze and find the causes through his narration, thus, this histography is different from that of the Tabari. Bayhaqi believes that the aim of history is to learn a lesson. Tabari, also, believes in learning from history and pursues religious goals in his history writing as well. But Bal'ami is influenced by political and nationalist motivations. People and society play a more dominant role in Tabari's (and Bal'ami) histories in comparison with Bayhaqi's.    }, keywords = {Keywords: Bayhaqi's history,Tabari's history,Bal'ami's history,histography,historian,narrative}, title_fa = {روایت و تاریخ؛ سنجش شیوه‌های تاریخ‌نگاری در تاریخ بیهقی، تاریخ طبری و تاریخ بلعمی}, abstract_fa = {چکیده تاریخ بلعمی و تاریخ بیهقی از شاهکارهای دوران نخستین تاریخنگاری و از نمایندگان سبک نثر مرسل و بینابین ادبیات منثور ایران هستند. دربارۀ این دو اثر تاکنون جداگانه و در زمینههای مختلف، تحقیق و پژوهشهای زیادی شده است؛ اما پژوهشهایی که این دو اثر را در یک زمینۀ خاص مقایسه و تطبیق کنند، اندک هستند. پژوهش حاضر بر آن است تا با نشان دادن نگرش، روش و ویژگیهای تاریخنگاری در تاریخ بیهقی، تاریخ طبری و تاریخ بلعمی، برخی شباهتها و تفاوتهای این دو اثر را ـ که در دورۀ خود به نوعی روشمند و دارای سبک هستند ـ نشان دهد؛ زیرا با بررسی و مقایسۀ این دو اثر، میتوان به کیفیت و روند سیر و انتقال اصول تاریخنویسی در آن دورهها پی برد. برخی از نتایج این پژوهش نشان میدهد که بیهقی تاریخ را جدا از روایت صرف رویدادها میداند و سعی میکند به تحلیل و ریشهیابی وقایع نیز بپردازد. تاریخ او از نظر روش تاریخنگاری در زمرۀ تاریخهای تحلیلی است؛ اما بلعمی در ترجمۀ خود، از میان روایات متعدد طبری، تنها روایات موثق و ارجح را برمیگزیند؛ زیرا معتقد است که فراوانی گزارشها در مورد یک واقعیت نمیتواند دلیل بر صحت آن باشد. معیار بلعمی در این گزینشهای خاص، عقلی بودن آنهاست. بلعمی مانند بیهقی، تاریخ را جدا از خرافات و مجموعهای از واقعیات میداند که باید از طریق راویانی ثقه و امانتدار به آنها آگاهی پیدا کرد. از دیگر ویژگیهای تاریخنگاری بلعمی، تحلیل و ریشهیابیهایی است که ضمن برخی روایات انجام میدهد و بدینگونه روش تاریخنگاری او از شیوۀ روایی طبری، به شیوۀ ترکیبی تغییر پیدا میکند. در نظر بیهقی، هدف اصلی تاریخ عبرتآموزی است. طبری نیز تاریخ را درس عبرت و منبع معرفت میداند و در نگارش تاریخ خود اهداف مذهبی را دنبال میکند؛ اما بلعمی تا حدودی متأثر از انگیزههای سیاسی و ناسیونالیستی است. حضور مردم و اجتماع در تاریخ طبری (و تاریخ بلعمی) نسبت به تاریخ بیهقی بیشتر است.  }, keywords_fa = {واژههای کلیدی: تاریخ بیهقی,تاریخ طبری,تاریخ بلعمی,تاریخنگاری,مورخ,روایت}, url = {https://www.narratologyjournal.ir/article_90775.html}, eprint = {https://www.narratologyjournal.ir/article_90775_3708415351239c90006fe544c2d48400.pdf} }
