Laughter is a dialogue that can bring up serious matters without cost, using inverted language. One of the most eminent linguists utilizes the trick of madcap laughter against opposing and rebellious forces is Mikhail Bakhtin. Majnun, from his point of view, is not only an ordinary human being, but also with an obscure and inverted language is in conflict over the flow of political and theological power. This article, using a descriptive-analytical approach, aims to examine Attar's Mad Wise Men in accordance with the carnivalesque laughter technique with grotesque signs. In this research, by examining three works, Mosibat-Nameh, The Conference of the Birds and Elahi-Nameh, 106 narratives of Mad Wise Men were enumerated. As a result, 35 carnivalesque laughs and 17 grotesque،It was categorized and narratively explained. خنده بر خلاف ظاهرش یکی از مفاهیم عمیق فلسفی است. که در آن گونه های حقیقت، جهان هستی، تاریخ و انسان عمیق تر از جدیت بروز می کند. خنده ،گفتگویی است که می تواند امر جدی را بدون پرداخت هزینه با زبان معکوس مطرح کند. یکی از زبان شناسان برجسته که ترفند خنده مجنونانه را در تضاد با نیروهای مخالف و سرکش به کار بسته است، میخائیل باختین می باشد. مجنون از دیدگاه او یک انسان معمولی نیست، بلکه با زبانی مبهم و وارونه با جریان قدرت سیاسی و الهیات در ستیز است. مقاله حاضر به شیوه توصیفی- تحلیلی بر آن است تا عقلای مجانین عطار را مطابق ترفند خنده کارناوالی با نشانه های گروتسکی، بررسی کند. در این تحقیق با بررسی سه اثر مصیبت نامه، منطق الطیر و الهی نامه، ۱۰۶روایت عقلای مجانین احصاء شده و در نتیجه ۳۵خنده کارناوالی و ۱۷ نشانه گروتسکی طبقه بندی وتبیین روایی گردید. https://www.narratologyjournal.ir/article_222951_a46fcee21763de418d2ad54ae2506ea6.pdf
