By analyzing the narrative of the story Leap of Memories the Next Day, it provides an opportunity to introduce this genre to Iranian audiences and young writers. Qassaa's story, utilizing specific techniques, guides the reader into the world of memories and the challenges faced by its characters. The article also emphasizes the importance of narrative time and explores the duality between story time and narrative time. Qassaa enhances the appeal and suspense of the story by employing techniques of multiple timelines and using flashbacks and flash-forwards. The main conflict of the story relates to a unique spaceship in orbit around Earth, which is trapped in an energy field under the supervision of "Johnson." This story includes three parallel narratives that, through the technique of retrospection, uncover the truth about the spaceship and depict 170 years of history in less than 50 pages. This rapid pace of narration enables the reader to connect with various times of the story and become familiar with technological advancements and social transformations. Ultimately, the technique of condensation and other narrative methods contribute to a captivating presentation of the story, providing a foundation for reflection on science, power, and its consequences. این مقاله به بررسی نقش محمد قصاع، مترجم و پژوهشگر ادبیات، در گسترش ادبیات علمی-تخیلی و ادبیات کودک و نوجوان در ایران می‌پردازد. با تحلیل روایت داستان جهش خاطرات روز بعد، امکان معرفی این ژانر به مخاطبان ایرانی و نویسندگان جوان فراهم می‌شود. داستان قصاع، با استفاده از تکنیک‌های خاص، خواننده را به دنیای خاطرات و چالش‌های شخصیت‌ها هدایت می‌کند. مقاله همچنین بر اهمیت زمان روایت تأکید دارد و به بررسی دوگانگی میان زمان داستان و زمان روایت می‌پردازد. قصاع با به‌کارگیری تکنیک‌های چندزمانی و استفاده از فلش‌بک‌ها و فلش‌فورواردها، جاذبه و تعلیق داستان را افزایش می‌دهد. گره اصلی داستان به یک سفینه عجیب در مدار زمین مربوط می‌شود که تحت سرپرستی "جانسون" در میدان انرژی گیر افتاده است. این داستان شامل سه روایت موازی است که با تکنیک پس‌نگری به کشف حقیقت درباره این سفینه پرداخته و روایت داستانی 170 ساله را در کمتر از ۵۰ صفحه به تصویر می‌کشد. این سرعت بالای روایت، خواننده را قادر می‌سازد تا با زمان‌های مختلف داستان ارتباط برقرار کند و به پیشرفت‌های تکنولوژیکی و تحولات اجتماعی آشنا شود. در نهایت، تکنیک تلخیص و دیگر روش‌های روایی به ارائه‌ای جذاب از داستان کمک کرده و زمینه‌ای برای تفکر درباره علم، قدرت و پیامدهای آن فراهم می‌آورند.
