Abstract
The chronotope is the point of intersection of time and space. The point at which place materializes and time consolidates and comes to life. where that all the abstract elements of the drama find physicality and objectivity and are concluded. Dream Report is a play that has many components of chronotopic analysis in a literary work. In this play, time is trapped in the space of a long standing antique shop. It is as if the identities of these people are complete in the work when they are present in this place. The conflict in the story of these three generations is a conflict in the chronotopic realm of the world of this antique shop. Rezaei Rad depicts the history of liberation struggle in the contemporary of Iran in the context of this place, it seems that this place is the only intersection of time and place. It seems that the fate of human beings living in this history over a century depends on this chronotope . This intersection of history with a place in the Dream Report led to our selection for the present work, in which we have examined the importance of time and place and their interaction with each other and the plot through chronotope to explain the concepts desired by the playwright. To achieve this, we will first define the chronotope and enumerate its types, and then we will examine how the play in question in it’s narrative fits into the form of this chronotopic analysis.
